CollabNet Desktop - Microsoft Visual Studio Edition
CollabNet has traditionally provided an array of web-based tools that support users working in a distributed development environment. Conversations with developers and software project managers showed that the best way to enhance their productivity with our tools was to integrate them better with IDEs. The first release of CollabNet Desktop was for Eclipse. You now have the Microsoft Visual Studio Edition.

CollabNet Desktop for Microsoft Visual Studio lets you access the functionality of various CollabNet products from within the Visual Studio IDE.
- CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise
- Connect to a SourceForge site and view the projects and application folders in each project.
- Create custom tracker/task queries to work with the artifacts/tasks you're interested in.
- Edit/Create artifacts/tasks
- Use the integrated browser to update other application folder items (docs/releases).
- Browse Subversion repository contents and execute basic Subversion commands.
- Merge SVN commits associated with Tracker artifacts into your working copy.
- Drag and drop documents and file releases.
- Open/Update documents in MS Office applications.

- Connect to a CollabNet site and work with the Project Tracker and Issue Tracker tools.
- Edit/Create Project Tracker artifacts and Issue Tracker issues.

- CollabNet CUBiT
- Add a CUBiT manager site and manage your CUBiT hosts.
- Use the integrated browser to access CUBiT functionality such as allocating hosts, assigning profiles and so on.
- Invoke your favorite SSH or Remote Desktop client to log in to your host.

- Search for content on openCollabNet, and other sites that run CollabNet Community Edition, such as tigris.org and java.net.
