CollabNet has traditionally provided an array of web-based tools that support users working in a distributed development environment. Conversations with developers and software project managers showed that the best way to enhance their productivity with our tools was to integrate them better with IDEs. The first release of CollabNet Desktop was for Eclipse. You now have the Microsoft Visual Studio Edition, the Microsoft Windows Edition and the Microsoft Outlook Edition for Windows users that do not work in an IDE.

  • CollabNet TeamForge
    • Connect to a TeamForge site and view the projects and application folders in each project.
    • Create custom tracker/task queries to work with the artifacts/tasks you're interested in.

    • Connect to CollabNet Cloud Services.

    • Search for content on openCollabNet, and other sites that run CollabNet Community Edition, such as tigris.org.

  • CollabNet TeamForge Document Management Plugin for Microsoft Office

    • The CollabNet TeamForge Document Management Plugin for Microsoft Office allows users to browse and edit the contents of their TeamForge documents directly from within Microsoft Office tools (2003+). Editing can be done offline, with changes synchronized back to the CollabNet TeamForge server (and automatically versioned) once connected. Implemented as a Microsoft Windows .NET application, this plug-in works with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
